Visual Effects (VFX) Instructor
to join our creative faculty team.Responsibilities
Deliver engaging, hands-on instruction in topics such as compositing, motion tracking, green screen, rotoscoping, lighting and rendering, and VFX production pipelines. Teach industry-standard software such as
After Effects
. Provide constructive feedback and guidance to help students develop a professional-level demo reel. Ensure course materials and delivery align with PDA's academic standards and curriculum outcomes. Maintain a professional and supportive classroom environment that inspires creativity and collaboration.Qualifications
Diploma or degree in
Visual Effects, Animation, Film Production, or a related discipline
.2+ years of industry experience
in VFX, post-production, or digital media. Priorteaching or training experience
preferred but not required. Proficiency in one or more of the following:After Effects, Blender, or Maya.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude.Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $36.00 per hour
Experience:
Video Editing: 2 years (preferred) Cinematography: 2 years (preferred)
