Your Role at Baxter

You are driven by the knowledge that the products you help make saves and sustain lives. As a Filling Material Handler, you are happiest when you are moving, and we will not disappoint!

Our high-caliber talent works through the challenges at hand while pushing toward meeting client order needs. We are currently looking for energetic, hard-working Filling Material Handler to work full-time permanent on our Midnight shift (Sunday to Thursday 23:00-7:00) at our Alliston facility. Starting wage is $26.30/hour plus applicable shift premium. We offer an Employee Stock Purchasing Plan, Defined contribution pension plan and medical/dental benefits on your first day!

The following are dress/gowning requirements: safety glasses, safety shoes, ear plugs, jumpsuit, hood, hairnet, beard cover, gloves, isolation mask and boots (additional PPE required when cleaning)

Constant or intermittent exposure to elevated levels of noise

Involves working around equipment, machinery, and belts

What You\'ll Be Doing

The Filling Material Handler is responsible for moving trucks from the line(s) to Sterilizer staging area. Bring trays and screens to the line(s).

Duties performed on a rotational basis

Moving trucks, trays and screens to and from the loading area

Trouble shoot and repair Robots as needed

Remove empty tray bins

Assisting on the line as needed to help the process run smoothly and effectively.

Duties performed on a continual or intermittent basis

Learn, understand and apply thorough quality standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)

Notify the supervisor and take appropriate action if any safety, quality, mechanical or discrepancy issues occur

Sustain a clean and safe work area using 6S principles

What You\'ll Bring

Successful completion of High School diploma or GED required (Proof will be requested)

Experience doing repetitive tasks

Fast-paced environment

Seniority as defined on a company wide basis.

Demonstrated good attendance in present position

Demonstrated good performance & good quality in present position

Ability to support mandatory Production Saturdays

Demonstrated basic level proficiency with the following computer applications: BMTS (handheld)
