Job Summary


We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Filipino Home Support Worker to provide overnight care and assistance in a residential setting. This role is ideal for individuals experienced in senior care, disability support, or home health services, who are committed to enhancing the quality of life for residents through attentive and personalized care. The Night Shift position offers an opportunity to work closely with individuals requiring assistance with daily activities and medical needs, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being during overnight hours.

Duties



Provide direct support with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance Monitor residents' vital signs and observe for any changes in health status Assist with medication administration following care plans and HIPAA regulations Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed Operate patient lifts such as Hoyer lifts safely to transfer residents Maintain a clean and safe environment through light cleaning and sanitation tasks Document resident observations, care provided, and any incidents accurately in compliance with healthcare standards Support residents with dementia or Alzheimer's by implementing memory care strategies and engaging in therapeutic activities Collaborate with healthcare professionals to update and follow individualized care plans Respond promptly to emergencies or changes in residents' condition, utilizing CPR or first aid skills when necessary Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, including HIPAA regulations and infection control procedures

Skills



Proven experience in home & community care, assisted living, or long-term care environments Knowledge of patient observation, monitoring vital signs, and administering medications Familiarity with dementia, Alzheimer's, hospice, or memory care practices Ability to assist with ADLs and provide compassionate patient-centered support Strong communication skills for working effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams CPR and First Aid certification preferred; ongoing training encouraged Experience working with people with developmental disabilities or autism is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required for resident transfers or mobility assistance Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure resident confidentiality and privacy Compassionate demeanor with patience for working overnight hours in a residential setting
