Reporting to the HABS Operations Advisor, responsibilities for this position include the following:



Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative's vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach. Provide Legendary Service at all touch points through various communication channels. Administer start and end of day, end of period, end of month and end of year procedures. Maintain master files, customer files, and vendor files for the location. Responsible for inventory control including ordering and receiving, price changes and daily reconciliation reports. Input pricing for upcoming sales, perform price verification process. Maintain perpetual inventory report and complete regular stock checks. Maintain all signage on the floor. Complete large amounts of data entry, with seated work, and significant use of computerized workstation. Assist on sales floor with stock, rotation, and display of merchandise, operation of point-of-sale system, assisting guest with item selection. Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures. Support home centre operations as needed. Perform all other duties as assigned. Who you are:



You are looking for a career in Home & Building Products and Customer Service:


You have a high school diploma or equivalent experience; customer service and previous file maintenance experience would be considered assets. You are well organized and capable of attaining a high level of production, with a minimum amount of supervision. You have strong data entry skills and extensive computer experience with Microsoft Office and point-of-sale system. You have excellent interpersonal skills; attention to detail, versatility, creativity and flexibility are required. You are honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented, and strive to be the best in what you do. You have excellent written and verbal communication skills. You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives. You must be able to fulfill physical job requirements - manual labour is required while assisting on sales floor and performing inventory counts. You have the ability to work in a fast paced, guest facing environment. You have a flexible work schedule including weekends, and holidays.
