  • Provide administrative support for all Human Resources functions.
  • Accurately and efficiently scanning documents and images using various scanning equipment and software:
  • Turning paper documents into a digital copy using scanning equipment.
  • Managing and storing files on a computer.
  • Raising concerns and issues with the scanning equipment to technicians.
  • Inspecting the quality of output regularly.
  • Preparing documents for scanning.
  • Checking the quality of the scanned documents.
  • Activate the power of our people by executing and participating in employee engagement activities
  • Complies with Sysco\xe2\x80\x99s Food Safety Policy and procedures to ensure food safety, quality and legality requirements are met.
  • Is willing to work safely with minimal environmental impact and understands the importance of reporting all hazards, incidents, and environmental spills immediately to their Supervisor.
  • Understands that they play an integral role in their own safety and that of their colleagues and is willing to speak out when hazards are present.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Skills/Job Requirements (About you):
  • Current enrollment in a post-secondary business program.
  • Completion of a minimum of one (1) year post-secondary education in a business program.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with an education major in Human Resources.
  • Minimum of one (1) year or two (2) summers of work experience, preferably in an administrative or customer service role.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
  • Flexibility to react and adapt quickly in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and a strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite and web-based programs.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with a high degree of diplomacy.
  • Well-developed communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • High degree of self-awareness, authenticity and integrity.
