Position Overview:
We are looking for an Entry-Level Field Technician/Skilled Labor on a full-
time basis to assist in installing our moisture monitoring systems on Vancouver sites. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will work in a small team as well as independently to perform field work and generate field reports, from
provided work instructions.
Key Responsibilities:
-Installation & service of sensor system components (cable, enclosures,
sensors, etc.)
-Performance with non-destructive testing practices
-Project site data collections
-Photo/Videographic record keeping
-Creating field reports with site photos and coherent detailed
descriptions from templates.
-Able to carry ~50 lbs of gear and navigate construction site hazards.
-Able to assist with basic production of electronics when field work is
not required
-Follow all safety protocols, Covid procedures, and work instructions
as needed

-Ability to work outdoors (...Wind, Rain, Snow, Sun)
-Strong mechanical and analytical skills

Requirements:
Construction industry experience
Understanding construction principles and procedures
Understanding of Electrical, Plumbing, & Roofing
installation methods
Specializations in; Carpentry/Pipefitting/PLC,
Integrations/Low Voltage Electronical/Electrical experience
WHMIS and Fall Protection (in class) Certificates
Having own vehicle to access construction sites
Dexterity in handling wires, cables, and electronics.
Travel to Victoria 10-20% and ability to accommodate for that period (Ideally if you have family or friends in Victoria, where you can stay for short-term projects)
A reliable cell phone for site photos and digital compliance
