Job Description

We are on the lookout for a talented Field Technician to join our team in Prince Albert and/or Saskatoon. You will be working on transportation projects including roadways, highways, airports, and drainage. You will be the engineer\'s representative and will be responsible for providing oversight of construction on projects.

Your duties will include:

• Onsite surveying and materials testing
• Reviewing on-site quantities
• Monitoring quality control testing
• Maintaining projects records and site diaries
• Monitoring progress and schedules
• Preparing daily & weekly reports
• Monitoring the contractor\'s operations to ensure compliance with contracts, design specifications, and drawings
• Reviewing contractor work procedure submissions

Significant travel will be required as part of your regular job duties. You will be based out of Prince Albert/and or Saskatoon, depending on the home location of the successful candidate, but will be expected to travel throughout Saskatchewan, including overnight and extended stays.

Job Requirements

• Strong communication skills
• Experience with monitoring and coordinating clients, contractors, and/or staff is an asset
• An understanding of active construction projects with road construction experience is an asset
• Possess a valid Class 5 driver\'s license
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively
