Field Technician (Labourer)

We're looking for a Field Technician (Labourer) asap till end of October). Great employees may have the opportunity for permanent employment with this team, or as part of the fast growing, larger KBL team. You will support the Lead/Supervisor with safe and efficient project operations by performing tasks such as equipment setup, troubleshooting, maintenance, monitoring systems, and assisting with dredging and dewatering processes. You will actively participate in safety programs, documentation, and preventative maintenance while maintaining a clean, compliant, and team-oriented work environment.

What You'll Do






Support safe and efficient project operations by assisting the Lead/Supervisor with equipment setup, monitoring, sampling, testing, and process commissioning. Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on equipment, including daily pre- and post-operational checks and all required documentation on time. Assist in rigging, setup, and teardown activities, such as slurry piping, power cables, dewatering systems, mobilization/demobilization, and equipment spotting. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized worksite, including housekeeping, fueling, lubrication, and general labour tasks. Participate in safety programs and compliance activities, including meetings, hazard assessments, incident reporting, and maintaining required certifications.



Who You Are





1-2 years of experience in a similar role. Valid Class 5 driver's license Ability to perform physically demanding tasks (lifting 55 lbs, confined spaces, heights, extended standing). Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting and teamwork skills Must have exceptional verbal communication skills, able to give and receive verbal information and direction in a fast-paced environment



What You Need





Ability and willingness to travel to work locations across Western Canada. Ability to work in all weather conditions, including extreme heat or cold, depending on location. Must be willing to work, day & night shifts, up to 12 hours.
