Field Technician


ESG Solutions has spent over 20 years dominating the microseismic monitoring market in the petroleum, mining and geotechnical industries. We design, manufacture, install and support cutting-edge electronics, sensors and turn-key solutions that are sought-after worldwide. ESG is looking for a Field Technician to join an expanding team on a permanent, full-time basis, reporting to the Manager of Field Services and Technical Support. About You

• You have exceptional communication skills
• You have honed your customer service skills for the past several years and always strive provide a superior customer experience
• You have a university or college technical degree and you are proud to show off your academic accomplishments
• Safety is always your highest priority
• You are passionate about troubleshooting hardware and software, and may spend your personal time on these activities
• TCP/IP networking is second nature to you, and your network troubleshooting skills are extraordinary
• You enjoy demonstrating your ability to solve technical problems
• You are extremely organized and strive to document all important daily activities
• Traveling to remote client sites sounds exciting and interesting
• You would prefer spending up to 50% of your time out of the office on client sites rather than being in the office all the time
• You have no legal restrictions to traveling both internationally and domestically
• You have an uncanny ability to describe technical information and intuitively cater your communications to your audience
• Clients enjoy when you provide training
• Your colleagues would describe you as outgoing and enthusiastic
• You are highly motivated and enjoy a fast-paced work environment
• You are always willing to learn about new products, services, hardware and software
• You always choose a phone call over sending an email
