Seaquyl Supply Chain Solutions delivers innovative automation, monitoring, and logistics systems that power more resilient supply chains across Atlantic Canada. We are looking for an experienced, proactive, and customer-focused Field Technician to join our Halifax-based team.

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys working in the field, solving real-world technical problems, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where no two days look the same.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and commission Seaquyl monitoring and automation systems at warehouses, logistics centers, and industrial client sites Perform ongoing inspections, testing, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues under field conditions Act as the primary on-site technical contact, delivering responsive, professional support to customers Provide basic system training to operators and warehouse staff following handover Maintain accurate field notes, service reports, and documentation after each visit Provide feedback to internal engineering and product teams to help improve future deployments
Requirements

3-5 years' experience in a field technician, service, or installation role (automation, logistics, electrical, industrial, or telecom background preferred) Skilled in using hand/power tools, laptops, and diagnostic equipment Solution-driven problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team Strong customer-service and communication skills Highly organised, reliable, and able to manage jobs with minimal supervision Ability to travel throughout Atlantic Canada (company vehicle or mileage provided) Valid driver's licence (required)

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
