This is an internal/external search. The best candidate will be selected based off their commitment to safety and experience executing water transfer jobs. Role: The Field Supervisor provides mentorship to the Project Managers & Supervisors on Leadership, Health and Safety, and execution standards in the Water Transfer department. This position ccollaborates with Internal Supports, Field Staff, and Clients in planning upcoming jobs from a technical and executional standpoint and provides direction to all parties on best operating practices to achieve KPI?s. Job Duties
  • Responsible to have a strong Safety focus (Safe Work Practices (SWP), Safe Operating Procedures (SOP) and Job Safety Analysis (JSA)) is your top priority
  • Audit all Water Transfer job sites and provide real time feedback to Supervisor onsite plus HSE and Ops Manager when improvements are needed.
  • Ensuring parts/equipment requests are assembled properly and delivered in a timely fashion
  • Putting together job packages for pre-job preparation sessions
  • Organization of shop crews and outlining daily tasks
  • Heavy and light Vehicle Fleet Management in coordination with Parts/Maintenance
  • Employee Tracking/Time Entry
  • Responsible for ensuring employees hours are properly tracked and accounted for
  • Responsible for the maintenance coordination of assets incoming from Field
  • Responsible for the tracking of inventory and assets
  • In-field Mentorship
  • Other Duties as required

Job Requirements:
Experience & Training
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3-6 years of relevant industry experience
  • Must possess a clean driver?s abstract
  • Must possess a valid Class 5 driver?s license
  • Valid safety tickets required: First Aid, H2S Alive, CSO
  • Full understanding of all relevant safety and compliance regulations, policies, and acceptable work practices
  • Computer proficiency and ability to learn new software
  • Proven organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills

Physical Requirements
  • Must be physically fit and able to pass our pre-employment screening
  • Physical requirements may include bending, safely lifting up to 20 kgs, working in a noisy and sometimes dusty environment
  • Able to climb ladders and stairs and work at heights
  • Willing to work outdoors and in inclement weather if required

Skills & Expectations
  • Must have legal authorization to work in Canada on a full-time basis for anyone other than your current employer
  • Must be willing to be on call on rotating weekends
  • Respond calmly to emergency and/or critical situations
  • Ability to accurately record and maintain important information and documentation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications; Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
  • Willing to work nights, weekends, holidays
  • Willing to comply with all safety policies and procedures
  • Willing to comply with Aureus? drug & alcohol-free and harassment-free work environment
