The

Service Technician

is responsible for servicing water treatment systems, primarily water filtration equipment located in grocery stores. Technicians in this role are required to travel more than 40% of the time and be willing to travel by air and vehicle working at the external client sites across Ontario.

The job holder will be based our office in the Greater Toronto Area, and the successful candidate resides around the following locations: Mississauga, Oakville, Hamilton, Guelph or Kitchener.

Responsibilities

Deliver, install and maintain water treatment equipment providing excellent customer service Routinely change water filters, clean and sanitize equipment, change UV bulbs and clear water lines Conduct quarterly maintenance visits to maintain equipment in Ontario Perform diagnostics and analysis to trouble-shoot and repair water treatment equipment. Complete work orders and paperwork related to tasks in an accurate and timely manner Prepares timely and detailed service report Protect company assets, including maintaining company vehicles, tools, and equipment in good condition and working order in accordance with the company policy Build positive relationships with customers through quality services and client-oriented attitude Comply with all health and safety policies mandated by the company and customers

Qualifications

3-5 years of related technical or installation experience with water treatment equipment will be considered a strong asset Plumbing experience preferred Willing to travel over 40% of the time Strong troubleshooting and technical skills Must be fluent in English, with the ability to read technical manuals, complete documentation, and communicate effectively with team members and the customers Able to accommodate a flexible work schedule Valid driver's license with clean record. A Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) is included in our technician background check Strong organizational and time management skills The role requires the ability to lift up to 70 pounds, walking, standing, squatting, bending, walk with heavy equipment and driving for over 50% of the workday Basic to intermediate Microsoft Office skills in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
