West Coast Robotics is the leading provider of robotics technology for the dairy industry throughout British Columbia. We are the gold standard when it comes to dairy automation. As we continue to expand, we are currently seeking a talented and dedicated Field Service Technician to service robotics and other equipment associated with milking, feeding, cooling, and ventilation operations for our valuable dairy customers throughout the Okanagan region. This is a hands-on role. You should have a passion for the dairy industry as well as mechanical and electrical components. You live and breath troubleshooting. Candidates with a mechanical, robotics, or electrical technologist background and desire to be hands-on are welcome to apply as well. What You Need Ideally, you will be able to demonstrate the following:
- At least 2 to 5 years\' experience as a service tech, with experience servicing and troubleshooting mechanical, robotics, electrical, and/or other components
- Some familiarity with the dairy industry is an asset
- A diploma in robotics and/or mechanical technology OR certification in the electrical or other trades and service tech experience
- Willingness to travel throughout the Okanagan region
- A high level of urgency and detail orientation
- Exceptional communication skills
- Intermediate to advanced MS Office proficiency
- A valid BC driver license in good standing
