ROLE PURPOSE:

As a Field Service Technician, you are the face of GLORY. As a member of the GLORY Field Service team, you will be empowered to:

\xc2\xb7 Directly manage all aspects of customer service and care with our clients

\xc2\xb7 Independently troubleshoot and repair a variety of high-speed cash-handling equipment

\xc2\xb7 Track and manage parts/tools

\xc2\xb7 Stay abreast of changes in technical and functional elements of GLORY equipment

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

\xc2\xb7 Ensure overall customer satisfaction

\xc2\xb7 Diagnose system problems and make repairs

\xc2\xb7 Keep customer apprised of progress during maintenance or a down system situation

\xc2\xb7 Document system problems and preventative maintenance in customer site log

\xc2\xb7 Gather and record machine information to monitor performance

\xc2\xb7 Complete machine installations, Engineering Change Notices that affect system upgrades, and Hardware /Software upgrades that may require technical assistance

\xc2\xb7 Make recommendations for improving the service, reliability, and performance of our equipment

\xc2\xb7 Escalate difficult technical problems by seeking timely advise or assistance from technical support

\xc2\xb7 Establish preventative maintenance schedules and implement according to company specifications

\xc2\xb7 Any other job responsibilities as assigned within scope of position. PAY RANGE:

\xc2\xb7 \xc2\xb7 $22.78- $30.00 an hour, plus overtime and on-call pay

\xc2\xb7 \xc2\xb7 Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; education; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

Education Level:

\xc2\xb7 Currently enrolled in or completed professional studies in electro-mechanics, electrical engineering, or equivalent work experience

\xc2\xb7 Certificates in related fields, i.e. mechanics, electronics, automation, data processing preferred

Qualifications:

\xc2\xb7 Excellent customer service and communication skill

\xc2\xb7 Working knowledge of personal computers especially Microsoft Office, navigation across network sites and email communication

\xc2\xb7 Logical trouble shooting skills and capability to isolate problems at PCB or component level

\xc2\xb7 Ability to effectively work with electric schematics, logic diagrams, mechanical drawings

\xc2\xb7 Understanding of AC/DC power distribution, and digital/analog circuitry

\xc2\xb7 Trained in the maintenance and repair of electro-mechanical machines

\xc2\xb7 Experience repairing high-speed paper handling machines such as check sorters, mail sorters, currency sorters; ATM\xe2\x80\x99s or copier machines experience is preferred

\xc2\xb7 3-5 years of technical field service repair experience preferred, i.e. aviation, medical equipment, vending machine repair, and/or military repair experience

\xc2\xb7 Hold a Valid Driver\xe2\x80\x99s License at all times

\xc2\xb7 Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada

\xc2\xb7 While some computer knowledge is required, this position is focused electro-mechanical repair. The ideal candidate may possess some PC knowledge. However, this position is not intended for IT or help desk professionals.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

\xc2\xb7 A company van is provided and you will drive from your home daily to our customer sites. Therefore, it is critical that you live within a reasonable commute from the assigned territory

\xc2\xb7 Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance

\xc2\xb7 Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time, as well as be able to frequently kneel, bend, squat, sit and twist

\xc2\xb7 Must be able to work at all of our customer sites as needed including financial institutions, casinos (gaming licensing may be required after the time of hire), truck stops, recreational parks, retail stores etc.

\xc2\xb7 Ability to work weekends and/or holidays on a rotational basis to accommodate business needs

\xc2\xb7 Must be available for an on-call rotation, typically once every 3 to 5 weeks including evenings and weekends, 24/7 might be necessary on rare occasions

\xc2\xb7 Must be able to drive to customer sites during working hours

\xc2\xb7 Occasional travel outside your assigned territory including air and overnight travel may be necessary

\xc2\xb7 Ability to accommodate limited accessibility at a job site

\xc2\xb7 Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
