We are hiring! We are an engineering and robotic automation company that is rapidly growing, and we are looking for good people. Apex Motion Control is a modern and cutting-edge company that specializes in robotic applications within the baking industry. We also create custom solutions for packaging lines, container handling, and a wide scope of pick and place applications. We are located in the Port Kells area of Surrey.

We are looking for a hands-on mechanical/electrical field service technician that can help with all aspects of building, installing and troubleshooting automation systems. The successful candidate will be using their mechanical skills to fabricate and assemble the system, bring their electrical skills to install and wire the sensors and then use their diagnostic skills to troubleshoot the system. They will work both onsite at our facility in Port Kells as well as at customer locations worldwide.

This posting is open to all levels of experience and skillset. Apex will support the successful applicant with mentorship, training, and development.

Technical aptitude with hands-on capabilities using basic shop tools Can-do attitude with dependable work ethic Detail oriented - always striving to identify better approaches and adapt best practices Keen to learn and grow your technical skillsets in a supportive environment Strong verbal communication skills; able to communicate effectively with fellow team members as well as customers Enjoys travelling - you will need be able to travel abroad to support installs and tech visits worldwide - including North America, Europe and Japan.

Pay: $30.00-$55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
