As a Field Technician I, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining laptops, desktops and printers for our customers\' end users.

A valid passport and driver\'s license and a vehicle are required.

This role reports to the Director of Customer Service.

Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals.

Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems.

Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups.

Trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed.

Determines and recommends which products or services best fit the customers\' needs.

May require an associate\'s degree or its equivalent and entry level - 3 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

Works under immediate supervision.

Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.

Typically reports to a project leader or manager.

Responsibilities:

Identifies, analyzes and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed

Uses experience and judgment to plan and achieve goals.

Performs a variety of complicated tasks

Works under general supervision.

Some degree of creativity and latitude is required

Key Tasks:

On-site software support

Repair of high-end printers and multi-function devices

Hardware repair and software restoration at server component level

Network device replacement/configuration

Basic network troubleshooting

Executing \'Smart Hands\'

Qualifications:

Requires experience in the field or related field; familiar with a variety of domain concepts, practices and procedures

Able to perform call handling in a real-time reporting environment

Able to work independently and with limited supervision

Excellent verbal and written skills

Have good interpersonal and communication skills.

Certifications (Asset):

CompTIA A+

HP / Dell / Lenovo desktops/laptops

Xerox / HP / Lexmark Multi-Function
