Currently, we have an opening for a Field Services Manager. The Field Services Manager is responsible for planning, resourcing and management of identified services across an area of responsibility. This role is responsible for meeting the business requirements and ensuring work is completed in compliance with company quality and safety standards. You will manage a dedicated team of Field Services Technicians, ensuring that all operations run smoothly, efficiently, and safely. You will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our reputation as a trusted provider of mining equipment & solutions. This role reports directly to the National Field Services Manager and requires close collaboration with multi-divisional teams.

You will ensure that our employees perform their work safely, adhering to industry, government, and site-specific standards. It is the responsibility of the Field Services Supervisor to conduct audits and ensure compliance and quality of evaluations conducted in the field, and to follow up with corrective actions when hazards, incidents, or near-misses occur. Ensure that technicians report any dangerous work habits, workplace incidents, and/or near-misses, and that they perform a "Take 5" risk assessment before each task. Ensure adequate supervision at sites where our technicians are deployed and intervene with management if necessary. Maintain tools and equipment to ensure safe operation. Participate in environmental, health, and safety training.

Business Growth and DevelopmentManages and develops the people, service offerings and capabilities consistent with identified customer needs and product technologies. Manages resources to meet utilization targets and capacity requirements. Participates as an active member in specific ad hoc account teams. Develops and enhances the overall relationship with customers that lead to constructive and profitable business partnerships. Collaborates with contracts team to satisfy resourcing requirements. Provides input into strategic plans for the continued expansion of services and capabilities within the area of responsibility. Investigates competitor activities and conducts relevant market research that enables market competitiveness. Works closely with Product Line Managers to plan and provide training for new products.

FinancialManages cost base in accordance with budget. Ensures implementation of appropriate financial controls. Manages resource utilization within agreed targets.

Customer ServiceEnsures adequate customer response times and resource availability. Ensures customer satisfaction within area of primary responsibility.

People Management and DevelopmentHires, coaches, motivates, trains, evaluates and directs team members to accomplish defined goals and objectives. Ensures participation in the technical training program and development of required skills. Ensures proper on-boarding of new personnel in accordance with Company procedures. Manages, motivates and influences ad hoc teams as driven by business needs. Manages resources to deliver internal projects and customer projects on time and within budget.

Personal LeadershipEnsures that all activities are carried out in accordance with Company Values and current Company Policies and Procedures. Stays current on industry developments, competitive offerings and issues affecting sales and customers. Actively supports community initiatives. Undertakes self-training and development as required.

What you will bring alongProven experience in Maintenance Management or Services Management, preferably in a mining or heavy equipment industry. Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices with heavy equipment and in a mining environment. Exceptional organizational and time management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Bilingualism Ability to travel as needed to oversee customer operations. Strong computer literacy including Microsoft 365. Proven experience with CMMS and CRM systems. Experience with Maximo and Salesforce is considered an asset.

Gerer les ressources pour atteindre les objectifs d'utilisation et les exigences de capacite. Participer activement a des equipes de comptes ad hoc. Developper et renforcer les relations avec les clients pour etablir des partenariats d'affaires constructifs et rentables. Collaborer avec l'equipe des contrats pour repondre aux besoins en ressources. Contribuer a l'elaboration de plans strategiques pour l'expansion continue des services et des capacites. Etudier les activites des concurrents et effectuer des recherches de marche pertinentes pour rester competitif. Travailler en etroite collaboration avec les chefs de produits pour planifier et fournir des formations sur les nouveaux produits.

FinancesGerer les couts conformement au budget. Mettre en oeuvre des controles financiers appropries. Gerer l'utilisation des ressources selon les objectifs convenus.

Service a la clienteleGarantir des delais de reponse adequats et la disponibilite des ressources pour les clients. Assurer la satisfaction des clients dans votre domaine de responsabilite.

Gestion et developpement des personnesRecruter, encadrer, motiver, former, evaluer et diriger les membres de l'equipe pour atteindre les objectifs definis. Veiller a la participation au programme de formation technique et au developpement des competences requises. Assurer une integration adequate des nouveaux employes conformement aux procedures de l'entreprise. Gerer, motiver et influencer des equipes ad hoc selon les besoins de l'entreprise. Gerer les ressources pour livrer les projets internes et ceux des clients dans les delais et les budgets impartis.

Profil rechercheExperience confirmee en gestion de la maintenance ou des services, de preference dans le secteur minier ou des equipements lourds. Solides competences en leadership et en gestion d'equipe, avec la capacite de motiver et de developper une equipe diversifiee. Excellentes aptitudes a la resolution de problemes et a la prise de decision. Connaissance des reglementations de securite et des meilleures pratiques dans les environnements miniers et avec les equipements lourds. Excellentes competences organisationnelles et en gestion du temps. Solides competences en communication et en relations interpersonnelles. Bilinguisme (francais et anglais). Capacite a voyager selon les besoins pour superviser les operations chez les clients. Maitrise des outils informatiques, y compris Microsoft 365. Experience averee avec les systemes GMAO et CRM. Une experience avec Maximo et Salesforce est un atout.
