A Snapshot of Your Day

We are seeking a Field Service Mechanic to execute mechanical work under the leadership of a Field Service Lead hand, Technician, or Representative. In this role, you will carry out the mechanical duties involved with disassembly, inspection, maintenance, repair, and reassembly for Siemens Energy Original Equipment Manufacturer and non-Original Equipment Manufacturer product lines of steam and gas turbines, compressors, generators, and auxiliary equipment across the country.

How You\'ll Make an Impact

• Ensure that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and report all near misses and incidents to EHS Management
• Maintain and utilize on-site tooling and equipment
• Attend and participate in all safety meetings; toolbox meetings
• Encouraging safe work practices during Field Service Projects
• Encourage use of MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets) and appropriate safety policies
• Provide clear and concise data to be added to technical reporting and accurately record information into appropriate datasheets
• Maintain and submit timely expense reports and timesheets
• Read and understand technical drawings and publications

What You Bring

• Apprentice or Red Seal Journeyman Millwright certificate
• Experience with rotating equipment
• Experience with steam and gas turbines, compressors, generators, and/or auxiliary equipment (preferred)
• Willingness and ability to travel on short notice for extended periods and work overtime, as necessary
• Physical ability to lift up to 20 kgs
• Valid Driver\'s License
• Strong communication and client relationship management skills
• Interest to work with hand tools
