Job Description

NRS Oilfield Services Inc. is looking for a skilled and motivated Field Sampling Technician (Part-Time) to join our Edmonton team. This position is ideal for individuals with hands-on experience in the oil and gas industry. Knowledge of oil and gas wells, SAGD, processing plants, field compressors, and batteries is highly desirable and will set you apart as a candidate.

In this role, you'll be driving to various sites to collect sweet and sour gas, condensate, oil, bitumen, and water samples using a variety of sampling and testing procedures. Flexibility is required, as occasional out-of-town travel and evening or weekend shifts are part of the job.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct field sampling and testing of oil and gas products with accuracy and attention to detail. Comply with all company HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) policies and procedures. Work independently and efficiently, managing tasks with minimal supervision. Maintain a safety-first mindset in all operations.

Qualifications:

Proven hands-on experience in the oil and gas industry. Strong knowledge of oil and gas wells, processing plants, compressors, and batteries (preferred). Current H2S and Standard First-Aid certifications (preferred). Flexible availability for evening, weekend, and out-of-town work assignments. Valid driver's license with a clean abstract (to be provided during the interview process). Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
