Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Safety Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe working environment within our oilfield projects. This position involves developing safety protocols, conducting training sessions, and monitoring compliance with safety regulations. The Safety Coordinator will work closely with project managers and site personnel to promote a culture of safety across all operations.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations. Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards. Provide training to employees on safety practices, emergency procedures, and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Collaborate with construction management teams to assess risks associated with project activities and recommend mitigation strategies. Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training sessions, and incident reports. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to workplace safety in the construction sector.

Requirements

CRSP / CRST Proven experience in a safety role within the construction industry is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of Work Safe regulations and other relevant safety standards. Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively train and engage employees at all levels. Strong analytical skills for identifying risks and developing effective solutions. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $30.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 60 per week
