Position Overview:
Permanent, full-time
We are seeking a Field Project Manager who can combine strong project management skills with a hands-on approach. In this role, you will manage projects from the office, coordinating schedules, resources, installers and budgets, but you'll also be on-site as needed, ensuring installations run smoothly and leading by example.
The successful candidate will combine strong project management skills with a willingness to be actively involved in on-site project execution.
Job Duties (include and are not limited to):
Serve as the primary coordinator for all project-related activities, ensuring successful delivery for clients from planning through installation.
Scope each client project thoroughly to create accurate project plans for client quotations and internal work orders.
Conduct on-site visits to assess product sizing, materials, and installation requirements, providing practical recommendations for production and installation teams; complete tender and quotation packages, including scoping, materials selection, and installation planning.
Monitor task progression, resource allocation, material procurement, timelines, and milestones, ensuring projects are executed on schedule, in sequence, and with full visibility for stakeholders.
Take a hands-on, field-active approach to project execution, participating on-site as needed to ensure installations and project delivery meet quality and safety standards.
Collaborate with the Director of Operations & Production, and Division Director to document detailed project plans and address any operational challenges.
Communicate critical project information to staff, contractors, and suppliers, ensuring tasks are delegated, briefed, and aligned with project milestones.
Follow up with internal teams and external vendors to maintain project schedules and keep projects within scope and budget.
Work cross-functionally with design, production, installation, purchasing, and accounting teams to ensure all project components are accounted for and properly coordinated.
Qualifications & Requirements
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with competing deadlines.
You stay cool under pressure and keep things moving no matter the deadline.
Adaptable when working under pressure or shifting timelines.
Highly organized with a talent for building and executing master action plans.
Proficient in Microsoft Suite, including but no limited to Word and Excel, with a sharp eye for detail.
Strong sense of accountability--able to enforce deadlines and deliverables.
Cost-conscious and experienced in sourcing competitive pricing from third parties.
Professional communicator with strong client-facing skills.
Track record of delivering projects on time and on budget.
Collaborative mindset--ready to jump in and support the team wherever needed.
Previous experience in the print and/or event industry is a strong asset.
