Our client, a leading company in the natural gas industry, is seeking an Operations Support Specialist to join their team. As an Operations Support Specialist, you will be part of the Operations Department, supporting the Storage Facility team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, technical knowledge, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: Operations Support Specialist

• Operate equipment at the Gas Storage Facility safely to meet daily demands.
• Support the area supervisor and operations coordinator in operating field and plant equipment to ensure all nominations are delivered and execute assigned daily tasks.
• Use technical knowledge and field/plant operations experience to solve work-related problems and maintain a safe and healthy workplace.
• Adhere to safe work procedures, including Site Safe Work Planning, and provide safety information and supplies.
• Participate in incident investigations and establish effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external agencies.

What\'s Needed?

• Related university degree and four-plus years\' experience OR six-plus years of previous field operations experience OR an equivalent mix of formal education and experience.
• High School Diploma with a minimum of 8 years\' field/plant operating experience preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills, technical knowledge, and a commitment to safety.
• Ability to work in a camp-based position with an 8-day on, 6-day off shift.
• Willingness to act as a resource in emergency and operational upset situations.
