ABOUT THE POSITION
The Marketing team is looking for a Field Marketing Representative to join their team, located in Greater Montreal.
This role reports directly to the Field Marketing Manager and works closely with Marketing, Sales Management and Sales Representatives to positively affect sell-through of our product.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCESupport the Columbia Sportswear Company Brand(s) at Retail, including Concept /Focus Shops, Brand Signage, Point of Purchase Programs, Digital Marketing with Key Specialty Accounts and Product Knowledge Clinics - LIVE & Virtual with Columbia Sportswear Company Wholesale Accounts. Establish and sustain positive relationships with accounts through merchandising training, product knowledge training, verbal and written communication and education of our Brand(s). Effectively communicate with the Columbia Sportswear Company Corporate Office, Sr. Manager Apparel Merchandising, Sales Directors, Marketing Generalist & Sr. Regional Sales Manager, Sales Reps and Retail Accounts


YOU AREProficient at installing and maintaining Concept/Focus Shops within assigned territory. Capable of managing category fixtures, brand signage and POP programs within assigned territory Experienced with implementing our visual merchandising standards at the retail level, creating a consistent and positive representation of our brand(s). Able to conduct visual merchandising and product knowledge clinics within assigned territory, training retail associates on merchandising standards, in-store guidelines and consumer buying behaviours, marketing activations, showroom/sales support, and tradeshow support. Capable of submitting product and marketing information / feedback to head office, Columbia Sportswear Company Sales Managers, Sales Reps and Retailers. Experienced in communicating current trends, competitive strategies, digital learnings and end-use consumer lifestyles to understand market needs. Experienced with completing, maintaining, and executing consistent retail visit reports, digital reports and schedules as per our guidelines. Able to manage assigned territory's travel budget, expenses, and schedule rotation.


YOU HAVEPost-secondary degree or diploma in Marketing with a concentration in Visual Merchandising, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Minimum of 2 years' experience in visual merchandising within the retail apparel industry In-depth knowledge of visual retail merchandising principles and best practices Fluent in both French and English, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills in each language, enabling effective collaboration with Senior Leadership and colleagues, clients, and suppliers outside of the Province of Quebec. Proven ability to work independently while adhering to overarching guidelines. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Excel, as well as Adobe software. Familiarity with ENDVR platform is considered an asset. Solid understanding of internet and social media marketing strategies (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, RSS, SMS). Experience using Adobe InDesign and Photoshop is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills with confidence in delivering impactful presentation.

L'equipe marketing est a la recherche d'un(e) representant(e) de marketing de terrain base dans le Grand Montreal.
Le titulaire de ce poste se rapporte directement au Directeur du marketing de terrain et travaille en etroite collaboration avec les departements du marketing, la gestion des ventes ainsi que les representants des ventes pour ameliorer les ventes au details de nos produits chez nos partenaires.
COMMENT VOUS FEREZ UNE DIFFERENCEFaire la promotions des marques de Columbia Sportswear Company au detail, incluant les aires concept/focus, l'affichage des marques, les programmes aux points de vente, le marketing numerique avec les grands comptes specialises et les formations sur les produits aupres des clients grossistes de Columbia Sportswear Company : en presentiel et en virtuel. Etablir et maintenir des relations positives avec les clients par le biais de formations sur le marchandisage et sur les produits, la communication orale et ecrite et la pedagogie sur nos marques. Communiquer efficacement avec le siege social de Columbia Sportswear Company, le directeur principal des techniques marchandes, les directeurs des ventes, le generaliste du marketing et le directeur regional principal des ventes, les representants des ventes et les clients au detail.


VOUS ETESCapable d'installer et de veiller au maintien de magasins concepts/focus sur un territoire designe Capable de gerer du mobilier, des affiches et des programmes de POP sur un territoire designe Vous avez de l'experience dans le domaine du marketing au detail afin de representer notre marque sous une lumiere positive. Capable de donner des formations sur le marketing et les technologies de nos produits, relayer des informations sur les habitudes des clients, participer au lancement de campagnes marketing, offrir un support dans la salle de montre. Capable de relayer des informations et commentaires sur les produits et le marketing a nos bureaux chefs, aux gerants des ventes, aux representants des ventes ainsi qu'aux detaillants. Capable d'identifier et de communiquer de l'information au sujet des tendances de marche, des strategies competitives, des habitudes de la clientele pour mieux cerner les besoins du marche. Capable de completer, maintenir et executer des visites en magasin et de soumettre des rapports de visite, des rapports numeriques et des horaires en fonction de nos normes.

Capable de gerer le budget assigne au territoire pour ce qui a trait aux depenses de voyage, aux frais courants et gerer l'horaire des rotations de produits.
VOUS AVEZUn baccalaureat ou diplome post-secondaire en marketing avec une concentration en marchandisage visuel ou une combinaison de formation et d'experience equivalente. Un minimum de deux ans d'experience en marchandisage visuel dans l'industrie des vetements au detail. Des connaissances approfondies des principes et des meilleures pratiques du marchandisage visuel au detail. D'excellentes competences en francais et en anglais, avec des habiletes exceptionnelles a l'oral et a l'ecrit afin de permettre une collaboration efficace avec la haute direction et les collegues, les clients et les fournisseurs a travers le Canada, y compris a l'exterieur de la province de Quebec. Une capacite averee de travailler de facon autonome tout en vous adherant aux lignes directrices globales. Une maitrise de la suite Microsoft Office, y compris Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint et Excel, ainsi que les logiciels Adobe. Des connaissances de la plateforme ENDVR seraient un atout. Une bonne comprehension des strategies de marketing des reseaux sociaux (p. ex. Facebook, Twitter, RSS, SMS). De l'experience dans l'utilisation d'Adobe InDesign et Photoshop serait un atout. De bonnes habiletes interpersonnelles et la confiance pour donner des presentations percutantes.
