The Field Technician role without immediate supervision or direction, work in a fast-paced team that provides our customers with a great experience by activating and assuring telecommunications / technology products and services, in the home and or business.

You actively participate in a diverse team environment to deliver the optimum customer and commercial outcomes aligned to the corporate strategy.

One open position available, and this role will maintain customer service in Bathurst.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver seamless service rectification and product installations, to the full satisfaction of Telstra\xe2\x80\x99s customers.
• Complete assurance & activation of products, services & CPE, including \xe2\x80\x93

- Exchange MDF, Customer MDF and Pillar Jumpering
- PSTN
- ISDN
- Pair Gain Systems
- ADSL (Simplex & Complex)
- nbn Consumer (Simplex & Complex)
- nbn Business
- OMMA
- Platinum
- BDSL
- ULL Interference Investigations
- Inspections (Poles and Network Sites)
- Power Remediation (Restore power to Network Sites)
- Power Routines (Proactive maintenance of power infrastructure in Network sites)

Qualifications:

• An employee will be required to possess and maintain the relevant and applicable licenses/qualifications to perform this role, as deemed mandatory by regulatory and legal authorities and must also possess and maintain a current driver\xe2\x80\x99s license.
• Ability to analyze and report results for voice, data and network technologies.
• Certificate IV in Telecommunications + relevant open cabling license endorsed with Aerial (A), Underground (U).
• Traffic management qualifications
• An industry white card is also required.
