ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a hands-on, outdoor role for someone who enjoys physical work and being part of a tight-knot field team. As a

Field General Labourer

, you'll support exploration activities in a remote camp setting, assisting with drill operations, trail and pad preparation, prospecting, and general site tasks. You'll work on a rotational schedule, with transportation, lodging, and meals provided, while contributing directly to safe and efficient field operations.

Schedule:

14 days on, 7 days off / 10 hour days.

WE WILL TRUST YOU TO... (KEY RESPONSIBILITIES)

Working in a team using chainsaws to cut pads and trails for helicopter supported diamond drilling. Assisting drill operations with pumping water and field layouts for diamond drill rigs. Safely operating in remote field locations including the use of off-road vehicles and working around heavy machinery. Prospecting to collect rock and soil samples. Uphold Pirate Gold's health, safety, and environmental standards. Assist the field team and Project Geologist with assigned ad hoc tasks.

YOU WILL NEED TO BE/BRING... (QUALIFICATIONS)

Strong experience operating a chainsaw and other power tools. Strong experience working in remote wilderness terrains. Willing to work in a remote camp for up to 2 weeks. Ability to safely operate off-road vehicles in rugged terrain Previous experience in mineral exploration preferred. A strong commitment to workplace safety regulations and procedures, and use of PPE. Valid Canadian driver's license.
