Your Impact:
It takes a great team to deliver the environmental projects that clean up our communities and improve our natural resources, and that includes those who coordinate travel and equipment for field workers to the field. As a Field Equipment Technician, you will support our various field programs by performing a variety of tasks including resolving issues/problems and communicate with internal customers. Working out of Prince George you will primarily be working on providing and maintaining equipment out of our remote equipment locker for Jacobs employees and subcontractors. Additionally, you will help with administrative tasks including processing internal billing which ties into data entry, filing and clerical tasks related to inventory control, tracking and follow-up with staff regarding equipment and vehicles requested from across Canada. Furthermore, you will be required to work alone with the support of a team based out of main Calgary Office and Distribution Center and other locations across Canada to deliver small equipment requests and vehicles to and from various locations and offices; pick up items from various vendors and suppliers. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of customer service, handling requests by phone and email that often require quick turnarounds. Working with other members of our team, you will quickly learn the shipping and receiving processes of different delivery/shipping companies. • 
  High School Diploma

• Work experience, certification or degree related to inventory management

• Experience with digital technology including IOS and Android devices, GNSS receivers

• Experience with water quality equipment including Turbidity Meters, Sondes, Swoffer Meter, Electrofishers

• Experience with remediation equipment including PID Monitors, Peristaltic Pumps, Water Level Meters

• Highly organized and detail orientated

• Experience with MS Office Suite with expert excel skills

• Ability to lift 75 pounds

• Valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license

• English - Fluent written and verbal (Required)

In addition to the minimum qualifications, the ideal candidate will also possess the following:

• 2 years or more inventory experience

• Demonstrated customer service and communication skills

• Investigation and troubleshooting techniques

• Basic understanding of field-testing equipment

• Basic understanding of accounting processes
