What success looks like in this role:

  • Private Label Services Support \xe2\x80\xa2 Transformation Services calls, installing and servicing PCs, and PC peripherals and/or electronic equipment \xe2\x80\xa2 Takes service calls and performs incident specific activities as directed by Help Desk, Service Desk or script \xe2\x80\xa2 May perform routine installs, moves, adds and changes as part of a directed team, including: \xe2\x80\xa2 Complex desktop and laptop break fix work \xe2\x80\xa2 Whole unit replacement \xe2\x80\xa2 Simple desktop printer fixes \xe2\x80\xa2 Load software with a script \xe2\x80\xa2 Performs scripted image loading, unit diagnostics and replaceable unit swapping \xe2\x80\xa2 Perform troubleshooting by running basic diagnostics and performs basic module replacement on PCs, servers and peripherals \xe2\x80\xa2 Performs preventative maintenance activities on certain products as directed \xe2\x80\xa2 Maintains a high degree of professionalism in actions, demeanor and dress. \xe2\x80\xa2 Insures customer satisfaction throughout \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensures client specific Service Level Agreements are met and incident and request tickets are updated accordingly within the ticketing system \xe2\x80\xa2 May provide Smart hands support using augmented reality \xe2\x80\xa2 May Maintaining stocks/ inventory at client\xe2\x80\x99s site (if applicable)
You will be successful in this role if you have:
  • High school degree required \xe2\x80\xa2 Minimum 1-2 Years of hands-on experience with laptop and desktop break-fix \xe2\x80\xa2 Computer-building background experience preferred \xe2\x80\xa2 A+ certification a plus \xe2\x80\xa2 Specific Manufacturer certification and/or training as required., i.e. EMC, Dell, Cisco, Microsoft, Unisys. COMPTIA, and NETWORKPLUS \xe2\x80\xa2 General knowledge of desktop hardware and software including basic knowledge of Microsoft applications \xe2\x80\xa2 Basic mechanical skills and understanding of electro static discharge (ESD) procedures \xe2\x80\xa2 Training and/or vendor certifications as required including completion of Core Training \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to resolve basic / non-complex problems as directed \xe2\x80\xa2 Client and/or governmental clearance may be required Microsoft Certified Professional Certification is an added advantage. Police or criminal background verification clearance may be required
