ABOUT THE ROLE

Do you have a storyteller's eye and an explorer's heart? We're looking for a

Field Content Producer

to help document a real-world mining adventure unfolding in Newfoundland and Labrador. You'll be the on-site storyteller - capturing the people, places, and moments that bring the excitement of discovery to life.

You'll follow the team in the field to document day-to-day activities, record interviews, and chronicle the journey as it unfolds. If you're naturally curious, love meeting new people, and are intrigued by the world of mining and exploration, this is your chance to capture the mining frontier all from the ground up.

Schedule: Rotation - 3 weeks on / 2 weeks off; from 8AM to 6PM.

WE WILL TRUST YOU TO... (KEY RESPONSIBILITIES)

Capture engaging video and photo content on-site activities, interviews, and field operations. Follow and document the team's journey, highlighting discoveries, progress, and behind-the-scenes moments. Conduct interviews with team members and participants to tell authentic stories. Organize and maintain the video library - tagging, cataloguing, and taking detailed notes on footage. Assist with equipment setup and maintenance (cameras, drones, audio gear etc.) Plan, organize, and document shoot in coordination with the field team and the creative team. Collaborate with the create and post-production teams to share footage, ideas, and updates. Uphold health, safety, and environmental standards, Ad-hoc duties as assigned.

YOU WILL NEED TO BE/BRING... (QUALIFICATIONS)

A passion for storytelling and curiosity about exploration, discovery, or the natural world. Some experience (can be academic or personal projects) in filming, photography, or multimedia content. Comfortable operating or learning to operate camera and other recording equipment. Strong interpersonal skills - ability to make people comfortable and bring out their natural personality on camera. Organized and detail-oriented, especially with file naming, tagging, ad documentation. Self-starter who can work independently and adapt to changing environments. Valid driver's licence. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50lbs, and work safely in variable outdoor conditions.

NICE TO HAVE

Basic video editing skills. Familiarity with drone operation or willingness to learn. Curiosity or enthusiasm for mining, geology, or exploration - no experience needed just a genuine interest in discovery and the stories behind it.
