Job Duties and Responsibilities
ticipate in the development of client quotes and requirements and lead design review process
Assist customers in the selection of Dana TM4 products and the design of vehicles using Dana TM4 products
Collaborate with customers to define control strategies considering passenger safety and current standards
Simulate customer applications to determine if requirements are met
Develop specifications and the define requirements
Develop and maintain project schedules as agreed upon between internal/external customers and Dana TM4
Identify and resolve project issues, using root cause analysis and provide a robust process for change management
Serve as the liaison with internal/external customers on program issues, including participation in their meetings
Manage communication and document exchange between internal technical teams and clients
Validate and advise customers on their mechanical, electrical and system integration
Diagnose vehicle problems that may affect Dana TM4 products or vehicle operation
Support on-site and remote vehicle commissioning and technical meetings
Make technical presentations to all levels of the customer organization

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor\'s degree in electrical, mechatronic, software engineering or similar
3+ years of relevant experience in mechatronics engineering or similar
Include any additional training/certifications/technical skills required for the role
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Knowledge of electric vehicle systems
Knowledge of software and control systems
Inverter and electric motor background
Both strategic and hands on; able to lead in execution as well as develop strategy.
Able to make decisions independently with appropriate level of consultation/communication.
Strong communication skills, both oral and written, at all levels
Ability to travel domestially and internationally as required (25% of the time)
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
Proficient technical skills Microsoft Office; PowerPoint, Excel, Lotus Notes
Excellent customer relationship management skills
