Fibre Shed in Port Williams

, where we are actively processing flax fibre. This position also includes work at a

second location

, operating our pelletizer machine to process

wool into pellets

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated

Fibre Processing Operator

to join our team.

Job Responsibilities

Operate TapRoot Fibre Lab flax-processing equipment Operate wool pelletizer equipment at a secondary work site Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues (training provided) Perform machine adjustments and optimization Monitor production flow and ensure machines are operating properly Follow all safety expectations, including wearing a respirator during working hours Maintain clean, organized, and safe workspaces at both locations Assist with additional tasks as required

Strong verbal communication skills Excellent problem-solving abilities; adaptable and quick-thinking Reliable, organized, and self-motivated Trustworthy, engaged, and passionate about hands-on, production-based work Comfortable with labour-intensive, repetitive tasks Willing and able to wear required safety equipment

Work Environment

Hands-on production work with specialized machinery Tasks performed at two separate locations Respirator required during fibre processing (equipment provided if needed)
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
