Job Summary:

We are a metal fabrication company in Mississauga looking a Fiber Laser Operator to perform machining operations on metal and steel parts. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the efficient and precise operation of our Glorystar fiber laser cutting machine to produce high-quality components according to specifications. This role is ideal for someone with previous experience in metal fabrication who can interpret technical drawings and blueprints effectively, load raw materials and tooling, make machine adjustments, perform quality checks during production and work collaboratively in a fast-paced production environment. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes and attention to detail. The Fiber Laser Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring production efficiency and product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate fiber laser machine to perform precise cuts on various materials to spec Interpret and analyze blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate production Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations during the cutting process Ability to adjust machine setting to optimize cut quality and speed Measure and inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality Conduct routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting on laser equipment to ensure optimal performance Material handling Safely operate forklift Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times

Required Qualifications:

Proven experience in fiber laser cutting operations or similar role within a manufacturing environment is preferred

Minimum 3 years of Fiber Laser operating

experience (required) Strong background in

metal fabrication

or a custom fabrication shop Ability to

read and interpret blueprints

and technical drawings Good

computer skills

for machine interface and file management Basic math skills are essential for performing measurements accurately Experience operating forklift/ valid forklift license Ability to multitask and problem solve. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
