Fiber Laser Operator

to join our dynamic and skilled team.

Position Summary:

The Fiber Laser Operator is responsible for the efficient and precise operation of our CNC fiber laser cutting machine. This role is ideal for someone with previous experience in metal fabrication who can read blueprints, operate CNC machinery, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced production environment. Experience on

brake presses

and/or

punch presses

is a strong asset.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC fiber laser to cut sheet metal components to spec Read and interpret blueprints, part drawings, and work orders Measure and inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting Operate other shop equipment such as

brake press

and

punch press

when required Maintain clean and organized work area Collaborate with other team members and supervisors to meet production goals Adhere to all company safety standards and protocols

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of experience operating a CNC fiber laser

(e.g., Bodor, Amada, Trumpf, etc.) Strong background in

metal fabrication

or a custom fabrication shop Familiarity with operating

brake presses

,

punch presses

, or similar machinery Ability to

read and interpret blueprints

and engineering drawings Good

computer skills

for machine interface and file management Team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail Reliable and punctual, with good time management and communication skills

Pay: $18.58-$28.14 per hour
