Overview:

AZ3 is seeking a dedicated and experienced

Fiber Drop Installer

to perform last-mile fiber installations in residential and small business environments. This role includes routing fiber from distribution points to customer premises, ensuring clean and secure cable placements indoors and outdoors.

Responsibilities:

Perform FTTH and fiber drop installations from handholes, pedestals, or aerial terminals to the customer's premises Route and secure fiber cables inside homes, buildings, or wall boxes Use hand tools to drill access points, mount boxes, and connect fiber jumpers Terminate and connect fiber using appropriate connectors or patch cords Test fiber signal strength using power meters or light source tools Complete installation checklists, photos, and documentation Communicate professionally with homeowners and tenants when accessing units Ensure fiber routing meets aesthetic, safety, and building code standards

Requirements:

2+ year of experience with fiber drop or FTTH installations Comfortable working with hand tools and small fiber connectors Familiar with aerial and underground drop installation methods Ability to work at heights (ladders or poles) and in crawlspaces Strong attention to detail and customer service attitude Valid driver's license; field mobility required WHMIS, Working at Heights, or Fiber Safety training is an asset

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
