Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Fertilizer Terminal Operator on a permanent basis on our Ag Solutions team. This position requires on-site work and is based in Hanley, SK. Not currently living in this area? FCL offers a commuting allowance to support your travel costs. Are you passionate about working in the agriculture industry? • Assist in the day-to-day operations of the Fertilizer Terminal.
• Monitor and operate terminal equipment to load/unload product.
• Perform general housekeeping operations in buildings and terminal grounds.
• Monitor and manage quality controls (ex. oiling dusty product), screen outbound and inbound, run conditioners, and clean/maintain equipment and work floors.
• Participate in safety meetings, plant inspections, and task observations.
• Maintain clean shipping and receiving area to prevent contamination of fertilizer products and ensure full compliance with safety procedures and personal protective equipment.
• Other duties as required.

Who you?ll work with: The Team: You will work closely with 3 other Fertilizer Terminal Operators and will report into the Fertilizer Terminal Supervisor. This team strives to cultivate a culture that is trusting, supportive, and easy to get along with. The Customers: You will demonstrate customer focus while supporting Saskatchewan local Co-ops, Local farms, and directly dealing with carriers who distribute our products. Why it matters: Our Agro team helps to feed and grow Western Canadian communities by sourcing and distributing products and services to local Co-ops in the feed, crop supplies and fertilizer business. Who you are: You are looking for a career in Production, Trades and Maintenance and:

• Have a Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
• Have 3 ? 5 years of relevant experience. Experience working with mobile equipment and/or in agriculture operations is an asset (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered.)
• Have a valid driver?s licence, are comfortable climbing heights, and able to work around dust.
• Have excellent communication and people skills, a mechanical aptitude of terminal maintenance and repair, and knowledge of fertilizer agricultural products.
• Mobile equipment certifications and first aid training is an asset.
