The Fertility Nurse will provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing fertility treatments. This role involves educating and supporting patients, coordinating treatment plans, and assisting with medical procedures. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a compassionate approach to patient care. The Nurse will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities
Provide individualized education and emotional support to patients and their families.
Answer patient inquiries and offer guidance throughout their fertility journey.
Assist in monitoring patient progress and addressing concerns.
Develop, coordinate, and monitor patient treatment plans in collaboration with physicians.
Schedule and organize tests, procedures, and appointments.
Ensure patients understand and adhere to their treatment protocols.
Perform blood draws, administer injections, and assist with ultrasounds.
Prepare patients for and assist during fertility-related procedures.
Monitor patient responses to medications and treatments, and report any concerns to physicians.
Educate patients about medications, procedures, and lifestyle factors that affect fertility.
Provide guidance on emotional and psychological coping strategies during treatment.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with clinic protocols and privacy regulations.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, adhering to infection control policies.
Requirements
Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) designation with a valid license to work in Ontario
Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, preferably in women's health, reproductive health, and/or OB/GYN.
Knowledge of fertility treatments and protocols is highly preferred.
Proficiency in phlebotomy.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.

Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
