JOB - FENCE ESTIMATOR

Full Time, Permanent, Maritime Fence a division of Northern Construction

Work Location: 173 Resource Rd. Goffs, Nova Scotia

Wage is based on experience and qualifications.

Company vehicle, fuel card, cell phone and laptop provided.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Respond to Initial customer inquiries, schedule appointments, and conduct site visits

Develop relationships with various general contractors

Complete field site review checklist (site measurements, photos, etc.)

Create estimate/quote package and approved by the manager prior submission to customer.

Follow up on quotes in person, by phone and by email to finalize agreement

Provide job file specifications to the production supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS

Possess High School Degree with relevant experience.

Post secondary education in Civil Engineering with a CET or a CTech designation would be an asset.

Bilingual Candidates (French/English) would be an asset.

Ability to read and understand blueprints.

Must have strong attention to detail and mathematical skills

Excellent communication in written and verbal & good interpersonal skills, professionalism

Proficient computer skills and thorough understanding of Microsoft office suite.

Must be willing to travel when required

Must possess a valid driver's license class 5 with a good abstract record

The ideal candidate will be a critical thinker who is skilled in problem solving and can take initiative and handles pressure
