Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious individual to join our team as a

Fence & Yard Crew

. This position requires the safe and legal operation of Class 5 vehicles with or without a trailer, along with the safe installation of fencing and yard work at various job sites. The ideal candidate will adhere to the company's safety programs and comply with Occupational Health and Safety regulations.

Duties

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections in compliance with Federal and Provincial regulations. Report mechanical issues to Maintenance and Management. Install and repair fences according to client specifications and timelines. Prepare work sites by clearing debris, leveling surfaces, and organizing materials. Follow established procedures to maintain operational efficiency and suggest improvements. Keep job sites clean and safe, with thorough cleanup upon completion. Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment. Meet or exceed client expectations through quality work and service standards. Maintain clear communication with Operations Managers on tasks, resources, and client goals. Collaborate with team members to foster a positive work environment. Assist with additional operational tasks as needed, supporting team objectives.

Education:

High School diploma or GED equivalent required. Valid Class 5 Driver's license required

Skills & Experience:

Minimum 1 year of laborer experience. Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of trucks and equipment preferred. Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Clear communication and effective spotting techniques.

Physical Demands:

Ability to hold, pull, and push up to 100 lbs frequently. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions around moving equipment. Drug and alcohol testing required. Long periods of driving, walking, and standing. Capable of reaching, climbing, kneeling, crouching, talking, and listening.

Pay: $25.00 per hour
