About Us:
Mara Home and Health Services Inc. is dedicated to providing exceptional, personalized home care services to clients in their own homes. We are currently seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Support Worker (PSW) to join our team. This job would involve driving to a client in Selkirk, Manitoba - About 25-30 minutes outside Winnipeg.
Position Details:
Shifts Available:
Afternoons: 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm.
Days:
Mondays and Fridays preferred. Open to schedule flexibility
Key Responsibilities:
Assist clients with daily living activities, including laundry, personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming.
Provide companionship and emotional support.
Support meal preparation and light housekeeping tasks.
Ensure the safety and well-being of clients.
Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
Qualifications:
Certification as a Personal Support Worker or equivalent training.
A caring, patient, and respectful attitude toward clients.
Ability to follow care plans and work independently.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Valid CPR/First Aid certification is an asset.
