As a Feller Buncher Operator at Antler Creek Contracting Ltd., you will be responsible for operating and maintaining feller buncher machines to efficiently harvest timber. This role demands attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate feller buncher equipment to cut and gather trees for processing. Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on machinery to ensure optimal performance. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with team members and adhere to instructions from supervisors to meet production targets. Troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment issues on-site. Maintain accurate records of work performed and report significant issues or delays.

Qualifications:

Proven experience operating feller buncher machines or similar heavy equipment. Strong understanding of forestry and logging operations. Ability to perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on machinery. Excellent attention to detail and adherence to safety practices. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Certification or training in operating feller bunchers is a plus.
