Feedlot Professionals

Acme, AB, CA, Canada

Job Description

Now Hiring: People Who Actually Like Working Outside (Yes, Even in January)

Feedlot Roles | Alberta & Saskatchewan | Full-Time

If you write code, you move to Silicon Valley.
If you work with cattle, you come to BC, Alberta, and Saskatchewan.

These provinces are where serious cattle production happens. The operations we work with know that half?million?dollar equipment is useless without people who actually know what they're doing.

If you're the person who keeps cattle healthy, pens in shape, and equipment moving, even when the weather is trying to kill you, this is for you.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

Pen checking and spotting problems before they blow up Feeding cattle at scale, not just a pet project in the backyard Running tractors, loaders, and feed equipment like you mean it Processing cattle: vaccinating, treating, sorting, moving Fixing things on the fly when plans change (because they will)
This is real feedlot work. If that sentence makes you nod instead of flinch, you're in the right place.

Who This Is For

We're building a pipeline of

pre?vetted professionals

for feedlots across Alberta, BC, and Saskatchewan, people who choose this work and take pride in it.

You might be a good fit if:

You can run a tractor/loader without taking out a fence You can tell the difference between "off feed" and "needs a vet, now" Cold, mud, and long days don't scare you off You're comfortable making decisions and owning the outcome You show up, you finish the job, and you don't cut corners
You are

not

a fit if you're just firing off applications because "anything will do."

What's On the Table

Competitive pay that respects your skills Housing options on some sites Training on specific systems if you bring a solid base Real advancement for people who prove themselves Crews that pull together when it's busy instead of pointing fingers
You'll get dirty. You'll work some weekends. Weather, cattle, and equipment don't care about your schedule. But if a smooth?running pen and healthy cattle at the bunk actually feels good to you, this is honest, important work.
