Otter Co-op is now hiring for a Full Time Feed Warehouse Supervisor for our Feed Mill located in Langley, BC.

What you will do:

• Supervise the warehouse team and convey feed division vision and work plan.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and safety.
• Schedule shifts and employee hours
• Assist the Feed Operations Manager with development of long-term production goals.
• To adhere to HACCP program requirements and federal government inspections
• Assist the Feed Operations Manager with budgeting hours and tonnage.
• Preparing and conducting team performance reviews
• Liaison between wholesale order desk, wholesale management team and Operations Manager for smooth operation and communication
• Ordering feed with coordination of feed mill operation
• Monitor and order needed supply for an efficient warehouse operation.
• Responsible for efficiency and productivity of the warehouse unit
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and safety.
• Supervise quarterly inventory count and maintain storage warehouse.
• Contribute to the team in living the corporate Values of Integrity, Community and Excellence
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Feed Manufacturing Operations and:

• Minimum one-year supervisory experience is mandatory, experience in Feed would an asset
• Demonstrated leadership skills, contributing to a positive team working environment.
• General understanding of agriculture business and/or farming background an asset
• Strong customer service, interpersonal and communication skills
• Motivation and ability to work under pressure and in a busy work environment is required.
• Must be committed to a SAFE working environment.
• Able to perform physical job duties including lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs.
• Hours will be full time Monday to Saturday, must have flexibility to work Sundays as needed.
• This position is based out of the Langley Feed Mill, though it may require on some occasions to travel and work at other locations as business needs arise
