Role and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Sales Director, the role of the Feasibility Technician - Electroform Products is to calculate and analyze the feasibility of products based on client needs and technical capabilities required for production. This person is responsible for all stages from feasibility study to technical support during the development of various lenses. He/She is in constant communication with customer.

More specifically

Perform various calculations to validate the feasibility of the project in accordance with standards and client requirements; Interpret results and contribute to the development of technical solutions with a view to continuous improvement; Conduct photometric studies based on internal standards; Make plastic and mechanical recommendations to guide the customer in their design development with the automaker's design studio, which is their customer; Provide quotes to customers; Be available to support/assist customers through videoconference; Provide technical support for the feasibility web portal; Provide all relevant information when contracts are secured and during the internal project launch; Support and guide international sales representatives; Maintain constant communication with customers; Perform any other related tasks connected to sales.

Knowledge, Education, and Experience

College diploma in mechanical engineering; Bilingualism (French and English), both spoken and written, is essential; A minimum of 5 years of experience within the company; Strong communication and negotiation skills; * Significant knowledge of mechanical design and manufacturing.
