About Us: STL Engineering is a leading Mechanical Engineering and Design services provider based in Ottawa, ON. Specializing in Fluid Flow, Thermal, and Structural Analysis for rugged applications, we are committed to delivering innovative solutions to our clients' engineering challenges. Role Description: STL Engineering is looking to fill the position of FEA/CFD Simulation & Design Engineer. This hybrid role will involve day-to-day tasks associated with design engineering, product design, mechanical engineering, and computer-aided design (CAD) and simulation, particularly in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and/or Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). The successful candidate will work closely with our team to develop robust engineering solutions.



Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Conduct design engineering and product design tasks. Perform mechanical engineering analysis and simulations using FEA and/orCFD. Utilize CAD software for design and modeling purposes. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure project success. Contribute to the product development process from concept to production. Provide analytical support and problem-solving expertise.

Qualifications:

1. Education: Successfully completed Mechanical Engineering program, or a relatedfield.

2. Technical Skills: Exposure to Simulation tools (e.g., SolidWorks Simulation,SolidWorks Flow Simulation, FEMAP, CREO Lite, FloTherm, IcePak, Ansys).Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo) a plus.

3. Knowledge: Understanding of mechanical systems, electronics, control systems,and robotics.

4. Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the abilityto troubleshoot complex systems.

5. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the abilityto convey technical information clearly and concisely.

6. Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects ofdesign and documentation.

7. Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced teamenvironment.

8. Adaptability: Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing projectrequirements and priorities.



Paid Time Off:

Schedule:

37.5 Hour Work Week
