Brew your Career at Cypress Mountain! We're looking for enthusiastic Baristas to join our team and help create a warm, inviting atmosphere for our guests. Whether you're crafting the perfect espresso or providing exceptional customer service, you'll play an important role in delivering an outstanding coffee experience.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (include but not limited to the following):

Great guests and staff with a friendly and approachable attitude, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive Check staff ID and enter discounts for F&B team members and Cypress team members per Boyne Rewards program Prepare and serve a variety of espresso- based drinks, hot chocolate, matcha, cold beverages and food items ensuring quality and consistency with every order Managing stock levels to guarantee availability of the full menu at all times. Maintain clear communication with both guests and team members to ensure prompt service, order accuracy, and a smooth workflow Operate the POS terminal efficiently ensure accurate and fast transactions and taking payment of all payment at the terminals from all forms of payment including credit/debit sales, Cypress gift cards, staff discounts and F&B vouchers. Ongoing stocking and replenishment of drink stations, food displays and fridges daily or as needed including checking best before dates of product and rotating for first in first out sell dates Open and close the food service outlet, completing necessary start-of-day and end-of-day tasks. Follow food safety protocols, including proper cleaning, temperature monitoring, and safe food storage practices Rotate and restock inventory, keeping track of products that need to be ordered and collaborating with the team to maintain stock levels Adhere to safety program and protocols, including safe food handling, sanitation, and health regulations and complete all in person and online training on the H&S Schoox Program. EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

High School or equivalent. 1+ years previous barista experience in a high-volume cafe.
QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES:

Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt to change. Strong attention to detail Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Able to work standing for long periods of time. Strong customer service skills with a passion for people. Must be approachable, dependable, and a strong team player. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business. Strong organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

Must be able to legally work in Canada. Food Safe Level 1 - an asset
