Zari is a leading name in South Asian bridal and formalwear, known for custom designs, quality craftsmanship, and exceptional client experience. We are already well-established in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and are now opening a second location in Surrey, BC.

We're looking for a passionate and experienced individual to take on a dual role as Fashion Stylist and Sales Executive at our new Surrey location.

We're looking for someone who not only understands bridalwear and styling but also has the confidence to make quick, sound decisions--especially in front of clients. The ideal candidate is poised, knowledgeable, and never freezes under pressure.

Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for fashion industry along with exceptional customer service skills. As a Stylist, you will be responsible for providing personalized styling advice, assisting customers in selecting products, and ensuring an outstanding shopping experience. Your ability to upsell and engage with clients will contribute to the overall success of our store.

Responsibilities

Provide expert styling advice to customers based on their individual needs and preferences. Assist customers in selecting products that enhance their personal style. Engage in upselling techniques to promote additional products and services. Handle order forms Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring all merchandise is displayed attractively. Utilize phone etiquette skills to assist customers over the phone with inquiries or appointments. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain high standards of customer service. Stay updated on current fashion trends and product knowledge to provide informed recommendations.

Requirements

Previous experience in retail sales or a similar customer-facing role is preferred. Strong upselling skills with a proven ability to drive sales. Excellent cash handling skills and attention to detail. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse clientele. Exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills. A passion for fashion, beauty, and helping others feel confident in their style choices. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. Knowledge of basic sewing skill is preferred.
