Position: Fashion Buyer
Location: Saint-Laurent

Our client, a company specialized in the fashion industry, is looking for a Buyer!What they offer:- Salary up to $100K + bonus

- Up to 3 weeks of vacation depends on seniority

- Laptop, etc. provided Your profile:- Bilingual to deal with all the provinces in Canada, Europe and China
- 3+ years of experience as a Buyer or in a similar role within the fashion retail industry
- Bachelor\'s degree or DEC in Fashion Merchandizing, Business, or a related field (preferred)
- Ability to travel when required across Canada, Europe and China depending on the brands assigned
- Ability to work 100% at the office unless travelling (no remote work possible)
- Shoe industry experience, major asset

Your role:

- Curate cohesive private label and branded collections consistent with the established company buying strategy
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities and make informed decisions regarding product assortment and inventory levels
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and pricing agreements
- Attend industry trade shows and fashion events to stay informed about the latest shoe designs and market developments
- Develop and maintain a network of contacts within the shoe industry, including designers, manufacturers, and brand representatives
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective promotional strategies and campaigns to increase sales
- Monitor and evaluate competitor activities, pricing strategies, and product offerings
- Manage the product lifecycle, from initial selection to sale, ensuring optimal inventory turnover
