Tasks

Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens and other work areas Cut agricultural crops Develop specific plans to prioritize Diagnose livestock health issues Direct farm feed inventory activities Handling animals Implement soil fertility programs Monitor the calving process Monitoring animal health Supervise milking operations to ensure work is done correctly Treat livestock health issues Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying or harvesting Carry out a pasture or pen breeding programs Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed Formulate feeding program Maintain livestock performance records Maintain quality control and production records Supervise and oversee breeding and other livestock-related programs Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations Maintain work records and logs Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment Perform general farm duties Track and report on current feed inventory
