Overview

We are looking for a Farm Supervisor to oversee daily farm operations and ensure the smooth running of agricultural activities.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations Direct farm inventory Direct farm grooming and agricultural crops deleafing activities Oversee the activities of clearing the fields Organize tasks to accomplish the work Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed Maintain quality control and production records Implement soil fertility programs Perform general farm duties

Requirements:

1 year to less than 2 years supervising experience in an agricultural or farm setting Ability to work under pressure Attention to detail Ability to work in physically demanding environment Ability to work in fast paced environment

Work Conditions:

Rural area Outdoors Fast-paced environment
Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 9 months

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

Coldstream, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
