Farm Soil Sampler Seasonal

Reporting to a District Operations Manager, you will use GPS equipment and specialized vehicles to collect soil samples from our customer\'s fields, to be analyzed for a Farmers Edge laboratory. In this role you will travel and sample a territory around Edmonton and surrounding communities.
What you\'ll be doing:
- Travel to assigned rural locations to take core soil samples from grower\'s fields
- Ensure quality control and accurate recording of sample data
- Regularly communicate with leadership to discuss field conditions
- Sampling database administration and maintenance
- Safe operation of motorized vehicles and specialized sampling equipment
- Valid driver\'s license* for designated province of employment;
- Agricultural experience and/or Western Canadian agricultural knowledge;
- Ability to carry up to 20 kg;
- Ability to travel, often to rural areas
- Availability to work a combination of days, evenings and/or weekends
