Simpson Family Farms is seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our team as a

Farm Labourer & Driver Assistant

. This part-time position involves working both on the farm and on the road alongside our delivery driver to support daily operations. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work, being part of a team, and helping ensure our fresh produce reaches customers safely and efficiently.

We will provide training for the right person who demonstrates a strong work ethic, teamwork, and a willingness to learn.

Role & Responsibilities

Assist the driver with loading and unloading produce at customer locations (restaurants, markets, wholesalers) Ride along with the driver to support delivery runs (no driving required) Help with harvesting, grading, and packing produce on the farm Follow all safety and lifting protocols (must be able to lift 50 lbs)

Qualifications & Requirements

Physically fit and able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly Dependable, punctual, and cooperative team player Positive attitude and willingness to learn Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions Strong communication and organization skills Previous farm or labour experience an asset, but not required

Preferred Skills

Experience handling produce or working in a warehouse/farm setting Familiarity with basic tools or light equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts - training provided) Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
